Creating your Lineserve Cloud account is quick and straightforward. Follow this comprehensive guide to get started with Africa's premier cloud infrastructure platform.

Prerequisites

Before you begin, make sure you have:

A valid email address
A mobile phone number for verification
A valid payment method (credit/debit card or mobile money)
Your business information (if creating a business account)

Step-by-Step Account Creation

Step 1: Visit the Lineserve Website

Navigate to lineserve.net
Click the "Sign Up" or "Get Started" button in the top right corner

Step 2: Choose Your Account Type

Select the account type that best fits your needs:

Individual Account: For developers, freelancers, and personal projects
Business Account: For companies, startups, and organizations requiring invoicing and team management

Step 3: Enter Your Personal Information

Fill in the required fields:

Full Name: Your legal first and last name
Email Address: Use a valid email you have access to
Password: Create a strong password with:
- At least 12 characters
- Uppercase and lowercase letters
- Numbers and special characters
Mobile Number: Include country code (e.g., +254 for Kenya, +234 for Nigeria)
Country: Select your country of residence

Select the data center region closest to your users or where you want your data stored:

Nairobi, Kenya: Ideal for East African markets (Kenya, Uganda, Tanzania, Rwanda)
Lagos, Nigeria: Best for West African markets (Nigeria, Ghana, Ivory Coast)
Johannesburg, South Africa: Optimal for Southern African markets (South Africa, Botswana, Namibia)
Cairo, Egypt: Recommended for North African markets (Egypt, Morocco, Tunisia)

Note: You can deploy resources in any region regardless of your primary selection.

Step 5: Agree to Terms and Conditions

Review the Terms of Service
Review the Privacy Policy
Review the Data Processing Agreement (especially important for compliance)
Check the box to accept the terms

Step 6: Complete CAPTCHA Verification

Complete the security verification to confirm you're not a bot.

Step 7: Submit Your Registration

Click the "Create Account" button to submit your registration.

What Happens Next?

After submitting your registration:

Email Verification: You'll receive a verification email within 2-5 minutes
- Click the verification link in the email
- The link expires after 24 hours
Mobile Verification: You'll receive an SMS with a 6-digit code
- Enter the code in the console
- The code expires after 15 minutes

For Business Accounts

If you selected a business account, you'll need to provide additional information:

Company Name: Legal registered business name

VAT/Tax Number: If applicable in your country
